Analysis of Protein Array containing more than 19,000 full-length human proteins using PIK3R2-Monospecific Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (PIK3R2/292). Z- and S- Score: The Z-score represents the strength of a signal that a monoclonal antibody (MAb) (in combination with a fluorescently-tagged anti-IgG secondary antibody) produces when binding to a particular protein on the HuProtTM array. Z-scores are described in units of standard deviations (SD's) above the mean value of all signals generated on that array. If targets on HuProtTM are arranged in descending order of the Z-score, the S-score is the difference (also in units of SD's) between the Z-score. S-score therefore represents the relative target specificity of a MAb to its intended target. A MAb is considered to specific to its intended target, if the MAb has an S-score of at least 2.5. For example, if a MAb binds to protein X with a Z-score of 43 and to protein Y with a Z-score of 14, then the S-score for the binding of that MAb to protein X is equal to 29.

Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI 3-kinase) is composed of p85 and p110 subunits. p85 lacks PI 3-kinase activity and acts as an adapter, coupling p110 to activated protein tyrosine kinase. Two forms of p85 have been described (p85伪 and p85尾), each possessing one SH3 and two SH2 domains. Various p110 isoforms have been identified. p110伪 and p110尾 interact with p85伪, and p110伪 has also been shown to interact with p85尾 in vitro. p110 �L expression is restricted to white blood cells. It has been shown to bind p85伪 and p85尾, but it apparently does not phosphorylate these subunits. p110 �L seems to have the capacity to autophosphorylate. p110纬 does not interact with the p85 subunits. It has been shown to be activated by 伪 and 尾纬 heterotrimeric G proteins.
